Another art trade! 

One of my fellow deviants requested a scene from The Little Mermaid (one of my favorite movies EVER), and I gotta admit it was hard to choose, the entire movie is amazing and I’d love to draw many scenes. I chose the one where they first introduce us to Scuttle, the hilarious seagull.

The Little Mermaid is one of the only Disney movies I have never seen in english, spanish is my mother tongue and as a little girl that’s the version I saw 24/7 (except for the soundtrack, I love the songs in both languages).

So, here’s he is showing Ariel and Flounder the “Dingehopper”, or as he says in spanish: “Cachivache”. XD Gotta love old school Disney, huh?

Glen Keane Tribute

On March 23rd 2012, Glen Keane resigned from Walt Disney studios. He was one of the head animators at the studios and created some of Disney’s most memorable characters; Ariel, the Beast, Aladdin, Tarzan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel - the list goes on. His work within Disney over the past 38 years has been revolutionary and he will undoubtedly be missed.

This tribute brought tears to my eyes and gave me the chills… I hope we see much more of Glen Keane’s work. One of the greatest animators ever, his work has always inspired my and always will. Thank you for giving life to some of the most important characters of my childhood. <3
